Daily & Error Logs

 

Logs are written to the location specified in the Configuration dialog "Log Folder" setting.  The default location is:

 

          C:\Users\userid\AppData\Local\EasyQlik\QSDA\log

 

 

Daily detailed logs are named "qsda-YYYY-MM-DD.log".  Daily logs contain informational and error messages.

Daily logs are deleted automatically when they become 30 days old.

 

The Error log contains a subset of critical messages form the daily logs. The log maintains about 60MB of messages. Messages older than this are deleted.

 

You can view the error log directly from the Admin menu.

 

Logging Level

 

Logging may be adjusted to record more detailed information useful in diagnosing a problem.  For normal operation, you should use the default level of "Info".
